Overview

There's a new system at www.aauw.org to collect officer information, but since we in NC collect slightly different information (for the branch "mini-pages" on this web site and for the branch/state officer directory we publish each summer) we ask that you complete this form, too. However, please do go to AAUW.org's "Member Services Database", register (if you haven't already), and complete the "point and click" officer form there.

Reminder: This information is due to the Association on June 1, so please do fill it out as soon as possible. Even if your slate of officers isn't complete, if you know your president for next year, submit at least that name. As there are changes, just resubmit the form.

Officers

Please enter the names of the officers, check the "new" box if this will be their first full year and, if there is a fixed term, enter the year their term expires. If you need to add a comment (e.g. your public policy person is "federal only" or someone is a "co-vp"), please add that after the name.

The job description for the Communications Chair means that it is usually done by more than one person. Please use the Communications line for the lead or most senior member of the team, check which job(s) she performs, and use the lines in the 11-18 range for members performing other communications roles. Similarly, use lines 11-18 for any co-officers for those positions listed in 1-10.

Note that the Association asks that all branches name contacts for at least the first seven positions - one person may hold more than one office. They list certain other positions, but do not list "secretary". Please list your secretary as an "other" officer in the Association records.

If you have more than 18 elected and appointed officers and committee chairs, you may fill out a second copy of the form (starting at #11) for AAUW NC records --just put "continued" in the President's name box.
