Rep. Jackie Speier to Address AAUW Banquet
AAUW is proud to announce that Rep. Jackie Speier (D-CA) will speak at AAUW’s national convention banquet. “Congresswoman Jackie Speier is a champion of women’s issues. She had a distinguished career in the California state legislature, and she continues to be a standout on Capitol Hill,” said AAUW Executive Linda D. Hallman, CAE. “She is an incredible woman with an incredible story.”

AAUW, Women and Politics Institute at AU, and Running Start launch Campaign College pilot
AAUW, the American University Women and Politics Institute (WPI), and Running Start are joining forces to launch a pilot program to increase the numbers of young women running for student offices on their campuses.

Campaign College kicks off January 31, at Iowa State University, and the program will soon be implemented at the University of Louisiana, Lafayette, and Nyack College, Manhattan.
