Seventeen of our 21 branches were represented at the convention. Members enjoyed networking with each other and learning from the workshops, plenary sessions, and exhibitors. A few nonmembers checked us out, liked what they saw, and joined! Mark your calendars now for Friday, March 27 for the 2009 AAUW NC Convention in Wilmington, which will be a preparation for the historic national convention in St. Louis, June 26-28, 2009.
