Rick Glazier, Executive Director of the North Carolina Justice Center, is the featured presenter for the October 20 program. His in-depth knowledge of current legislation and legislators driving the proposed laws make him a sought after speaker throughout the state. He will use this knowledge to help us understand and appreciate current legislation being considered by the NC General Assembly and some pertinent legislation in the US Congress.
Since 2015, he has led the NC Justice Center which is recognized as one of the state’s preeminent voices for economic and social justice. As a leading progressive research and advocacy organization, the NC Justice Center works through eight projects that provide in-depth expertise in the major policy areas impacting poor and working North Carolinians toward a goal of helping to create economic stability for all NC households.
