AAUW North Carolina was featured in the AAUW Washington Update:
On Monday, AAUW of North Carolina leaders delivered a petition telling Gov. McCrory (R) to veto a bill that could force many women’s health centers in the state to shut down. Afterward, they joined other advocates in a rally at the Capitol. Here’s what AAUW of North Carolina State President Mary Peterson had to say about it all: “AAUW NC stands with all NC women on issues of reproductive choice, education, and economy security. We are supporting each other and our voices will be heard. We won’t stand down.”
