I. The Communications Team seeks to educate branches about getting their activities/events/issues into their area media (newspapers, radio, TV).

A. Conduct Fall Meeting how-to panel.

B. Compile Communications Handbook for each branch.

C. Issue branch challenge: media attention 1-2 times in the 2007-2008 year.

II. The Communications Team will maintain a branch contact list for communications purposes.

III. The Communications Team will forward pertinent news content from the national office to the branch communications contacts for dissemination to their respective branch members.

IV. The Communications Team will serve in an advisory capacity to branches re communications issues and share helpful communications resources.
