NOTE:Time of press conference changed to 11:30am   What: News Conference to inform North Carolinians about the Federal Earned Income Tax Credit and that free tax preparation services are available to help them determine if they qualify for the Federal EITC.

Additionally, policymakers and leaders of several NC organizations join together to promote passage of a state EITC to supplement the federal, which will improve tax fairness and help more than 800,000 low- and moderate-income North Carolinians build wealth and gain economic security.
