President’s Message

Greetings Members! We seem to have had our snow for 2013! I hope that this finds each one of you happy and healthy and warm.

Welcome to new member, Marena! Marena comes to us from Ohio via Sneads Ferry. We are pleased to include Marena in our AAUW family.

This month our featured speaker will be Liz Owens. For many years she has been actively involved in the planning for a children’s museum in Jacksonville. We will be meeting at the Cracker Barrel on Western Blvd. in Jacksonville. Please plan to order a snack, late lunch or early dinner.

Looking forward to seeing you all! – JoAnn

NEW LOGO: As you can see, AAUW has designed a new logo to “keep us on the cutting edge of communication formats and yet work well in traditional media, honoring our outstanding history while moving the organization forward into an increasingly digital age”. (Inside AAUW 2013) The new logo will begin appearing this month on various forms of communication. How do you like it?
