The AAUW board is proposing two changes to make choosing national board members more flexible, and a third amendment that would drop the degree requirement for AAUW membership. The AAUW NC board supports these changes.

Angela Gist-Mackey, Assistant Professor of Organizational Communication at the University of Kansas, received support in 2017-2018 from an American Fellowship funded in part by the Ann Chipley Endowment. She is the first to be awarded support from this fund which reached stipend-producing level in 2016.
