Lilly Ledbetter and Elmira Mangum at 2009 AAUW National ConventionFor many of us who attended the AAUW Convention, a highlight was seeing Lilly Ledbetter in person. She not only addressed the convention with her powerful story, but spent hours signing souvenirs for the convention attendees and posing for individual pictures.

$tart $mart workshops teach junior and senior college women how to benchmark the salary of the job they want when they graduate and learn basic salary negotiation skills. This sessions trains those interested in pay equity to be able to conduct these workshops and/or to recruit campuses to host the workshops.
